Beyond the Conference: Turning Feedback into Action

Parent–teacher conferences give us valuable insight into how our children are learning, growing, and showing up in the classroom — but the real work happens after the meeting. Join Dr. Chloe Massey (child development & parenting expert) and Emmy Mlawer Hollenberg (executive functioning and learning specialist) for a practical, judgment-free conversation on what to do next. They’ll walk parents through how to: -Make sense of feedback (even when it’s confusing or concerning) -Talk to kids in a supportive, confidence-building way -Follow up with teachers and keep communication open -Turn recommendations into realistic routines at home -Support academic, social, and emotional growth without pressure or perfectionism You’ll leave with helpful language, real-life examples, and clear next steps — all designed to help your child thrive at school and at home.
